what I've been reading

It's July 5th and we're about to head out to visit friends for some outdoor fun and catching up. It's another hot day, but is comfortable in the shade.

Yesterday I finished reading Paths of Glory by Jeffrey Archer. I really enjoyed it and found it difficult to put down. It was about a man named George Mallory, who wanted to climb Mount Everest. It's a novel, but it's based on a true story.

Then I started reading The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson. He's got a nice style of writing, so enjoy reading it, even though I'm only up to page 72. So far it's about Chicago in the late 1800s and early 1900s... describing an architect and a man that is a serial killer (although we don't know any details yet). From what I've read so far, I know I'm going to love this book.
